Our Faculty
As the parents who operate and maintain our preschool, we hire all members of the MSPC faculty. Our teachers have been selected for the way they see children where they are and also see where they can go. Our teachers have many years of experience working with young children, coming from a background rich in training and practice. Our teachers participate throughout the year in Indiana Council of Preschool Cooperatives Teacher Study Group where teacher collaboration brings fantastic ideas to the classroom. Our teachers are life long learners, who want to instill the same passion for learning in the young children they encounter.
All parents assist our professional teachers on a rotating basis in the classroom. This allows us to have great adult to child ratios and keep our tuition costs lower than traditional preschools. All new parents attend an initial training session which provides a wealth of information in early childhood development and our educational philosophy and curriculum.
We also schedule visits from other educators throughout the year as part of our enrichment program. University music students, health care professionals, and fire safety education are just a few. We also encourage parents to contribute their many talents and hobbies to our preschool program.
